Willy Wonka

Mom and Dad have been very busy doing projects for the play Willy Wonka that is opening tomorrow at Mom's theatre (OK, it's not HER theatre, she just spends most of her life there or talking about it). They were in the garage a lot lately painting stuff, which meant that we couldn't be in the garage. To make matters worse, when Dad was outside he thought he saw a flea on his arm (it is that time of year) so it looks like we will be barred from the garage for a little bit. Probably a good thing since it's been in the 100s this week. But after this weekend we should get Mom and Dad back, which makes us very happy.

Oh! The Younger Human does theater stuff. Right now he's in rehearsal for a post-apocalyptic version of Romeo and Juliet. I kid you not... But the Woman would love it if he did a version of Willy Wonka. Her sister was in the 70's movie version! For like 4 seconds, but still!

Hmpf. We do not approve of hoomins doing things which do not include us.

One would think they could take a little time to get some pictures of the McKitten-cats!

Miss you!

Flea? oh noes...mewmie found one on Disco a couple of weeks ago and think it might have snuck in from when she was taking care of those feral kittens. She didn't 'nuke' the house yet but did spray the front and back yard with flea killer and gave everyone baths but she didn't find any more bugs! But they say where there is 1 flea, there are hundred of eggs and larva...so she has the stuff to use if she sees more but we are on Revolution so hopefully that will stop an fleafestation!
