Post-Mother's Day

I hope everycat had a good Mother's Day! Maggie was particularly naughty for Mother's Day. Mom and Dad have a tall dresser that has become where they put stuff they don't want us getting into because it is tall and we don't get up there. Well, Dad forgot he left the catnip up there after re-nipping our scratchers and Maggie kept pawing at the dresser. This, of course, got her in trouble because Mom and Dad didn't want scratches on the furniture. (She didn't actually scratch it.) But then, out of nowhere, Maggie leaps straight up to the top of the dresser and starts clearing everything off. She knocked down a plastic bag for me to chew on, and Mom's new ear buds (I didn't get to chew on them). Maggie then cleared a nice spot for her and spread out to nap like Queen of the Mountain. Now that she knows she can get up there, Mom and Dad are going to have to find a new "kitten safe zone" for things, because you know we like a challenge.

Happy Mother's Day to all the momma cats out there, and especially to our Mom beans who take such good care of us and make sure we have treats and brushes. What would we do without you. Today I plan to snuggle with my Mom so she knows how much I love her.

I hope all the Moms out there had a wonderful Mother's Day. Mom and Dad were in Atlanta this weekend doing a walk for MS and I didn't get to make a post for Mother's Day. I hope everyone had the most wonderful day yesterday.

Happy Mother's Dad, Mom! We love you very much mostly just because you are our Mom, but also because you brush us, and make sure we have treats and toys and lots of love and attention. And Happy Mother's Day to all the other Moms out there, too. Be sure to give you Mom some extra purrs today (maybe you'll get extra treats for it).

Oddly, looking through all my pictures, I realized I have few pictures of us with Mom. This one if of me as a kitten, but it's one of my favorites.
