Mom's coming home soon!

Mom has been away for what seems like forever ... she went to Atlanta last weekend, then came home Sunday only to turn around and go down toward Charleston with Aunt Trinity's family (and Aunt Tiffany, too) on Monday. She's been down playing in the sun, getting tan and burnt and having a good time with friends so old they might as well be sisters. Dad's been hanging out with us -- we played feather last night and he even gave us some (hot) garage time and lots of ice cubes and treats. Dad's a fine stand-in, and with Mom gone there's more room in the bed for me to stretch out and get belly rubs while Dad reads Harry Potter to me, but he has to work, too, so we'll be happy when Mom gets home and can hang out with us during the day.
