Take that, iPhone charger!

Last night I had an embarrassing mishap with the litter box. I blame Dad, because we're out of our good food, and we're using some standby food until he can get to the store (New Year's messed up his shopping, he claims). So our diet has been off, and as a result ... well, anyhow, I got some poop on my furs last night. Now this happens every now and then because I'm a pretty floofy cat, and I am very good about going straight to Mom and Dad and letting them know, then going straight to their bathroom so I can get cleaned up. But last night's was the worst ever. I might as well have taken a bath by the time Dad was done cleaning me with a wash cloth, and there aren't enough treats to make up for the indignity. It's embarrassing enough without getting soaking wet and chased around the bathroom with a wash cloth. So once I was set free of the bathroom, I went over to Mom's iPhone charger and bit the cord. It still works, but I just wanted to make a point -- I was not happy, not happy at all. But once I expressed myself we were all even, and OK. I even purred on Mom's head last night. And Dad said he's getting us our good food today, because he wasn't happy having to clean me either.

Still no pictures ... prepare for the bite

So Dad got distracted this weekend and didn't upload pictures -- big surprise. He forgot about my threat until this morning when I started sharking around his legs. I was all prepared to dish out my vengeance until he gave me treats and I forgot why I was supposed to bite him. But he promises pictures will be uploaded to Flickr tonight (or at least tomorrow).

It was a nice weekend and we had the windows open a lot, so I'll give him credit for that, at least. Mom's back was bothering her all weekend so we got extra snuggle time with her, too. (OK, go ahead and point out the irony of the chiropractor's wife having back pain...) I hope everyone else is having better weather too, or soon at least.

Dad's new toy

Dad got an iPod Nano -- anyone want to place bets on how long it takes for one of us to put the toothy death on it?

Mancat Monday

Remember when I told you all about my Aunt Tiff buying us a couple of super cool toys...well here is one of them. Here I am putting the toothy death on this crazy pink feather.

And here I am giving it the smack down with my giant paw! As you can see, Josie the huntress is trying to help me out. But as you know I'm a mancat so I don't need any help, little sister! Mom just told me to be nice...Thanks Josie for trying to help me get the crazy feathers! Also thanks Aunt Tiff for being the super coolest kittycat aunt!

FYI - I will be posting more feather pictures tomorrow for Tuxie and Tummy Tuesday.

That'll show 'em

Mom was concerned about my right eye. I was squinting last night, so she wrangled me and Dad put some eye ointment in my eye. This morning, they dragged me up from my resting spot in the closet and put more ointment in my eye. This time it flicked out and caught on my hair, so Dad had to wipe my eye and do it again, then a third time. Well, the third time, he poked my eye a little (but I'm OK). OK, in the physical sense, but I'm a little ticked off. I wanted to find a proper way to express my dissatisfaction with Mom and Dad, so I chewed through the power cord to the telephone. I figure maybe they'll get the point.
