Floofy Friday

Finally a new picture ... and of me, after things were starting to look like this was Maggie's blog. And poor Josie and Huggy Bear, not featured in how long? Probably because Maggie is such an attention hog.


Here I am at my floofy best. I am not as huge as this picture might suggest ... I swear it is just the angle and how I'm sitting that exaggerates my mass. But I guess when you have the floof you should probably flaunt it.

Mom keeps telling me I have my winter floof, but I'm not sure what to do with it. South Carolina doesn't really get that cold in the winter. It's 63 degrees here today, but rainy. I guess I could let Maggie snuggle with me since she doesn't have much floof. Any ideas?

Question: Do all moms think they are funny? My mom sure thinks she's funny. Look what she did to my beautiful fur. I was up in bed with her, and she was giving me my morning brushes, and then all of a sudden she was brushing me the wrong way! And then she started laughing and taking pictures. Let me tell you something, I was not happy, not happy at all! My beautiful ginger fur sticking up all over the place like that. What will kittens think???

Well she did brush it back down and gave me lots of snuggles afterwards, but that's not the point. So I'll ask again, do all moms think they are funny? Let me know.

Floofy Friday

Dad says we are starting to get our winter floof. What do you all think? Is anyone else getting their winter floof? I have tons of extra floof between my toesies. I guess I'm supposed to go outside in the snow or something. I don't think so. We are indoor cats. It's nice and cozy in here. (Also we don't get much, if any, snow here in South Carolina.)
PS Aunt Tiffy - I will trim my toesies before you come and visit for Christmas. I know how my toesie floof bothers you. But if I trim my toesie floof for you, what are you going to do for me? I hope whatever it is it comes in the shape of catnip or a new mousie. Thanks!!

Floofy Friday

Maggie is doing her best to be as floofy as she can be in this picture. Unfortunately, I am the king of floof in this house. Just look at my floofy tail.

PS Josie would like to thank all the kitties for their kind words yesterday. Mom and dad are looking for a new pink mousie. Pink mousie did have a twin, Orange mousie, but he's been MIA for about 3 weeks.

Happy day! Here I am taking a little nap on dad's pillow last night. Don't I look so floofy?!?

The reason it's a happy day is because we had THREE deliveries to our house today. The FedEx guy, the UPS guy, and the DHL guy - which means three or more boxes for us to play in. For me the FedEx delivery was the best. It was two large boxes and will really help me with my blog. Can you guess what it was????


A NEW COMPUTER! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEE!! It's so much faster than my old one and the monitor is bigger and flatter (more room for me on the desk now). I'm going to make this a short post so I can get back to importing all my bookmarks and pictures.

Floofy Friday

Here is Huggy Bear in his best Floofy Friday Full Monty pose. He was having a great time Full Monty-ing the other night while Mom was working on her recipe blog. Although she doesn't make cat food, we still like to supervise her time in the kitchen.


Huggy Bear has what Mom describes as a yummy tummy, and a very floofy one, too. He has what must be a "purr button" on his tummy because when Mom or Dad pets his tummy he just starts purring so loud that it could wake you up.

PS - Everyone needs to go over and visit Oscar and meet his new baby bean!

Since my mom goofed up and didn't my pictures to Monty Q on time for the Do the Q contest I thought I would just post these . These are old pictures from my house in Iowa



These are three of my mom's favorite pictures of me. The first because I'm smiling, the second because she says I look like Alf (whoever that is) and it makes her laugh, and the third because you can see my white spot on my tummy which is the first part of me my mom fell in love with.
