In memory of Oreo

Oreo was one of the first cat blogging friends we made. Although he had stopped updating a while back, we would check in ever now and then hoping for an update ... just not this kind of update. Mom's first cat went to the bridge the same way as Oreo, kidney failure, so this hits pretty close to home for Mom and Dad. Oreo, you will always have a spot in our hearts. You will be missed.

Poor Bear

First it was meep, now Bear ... we are so sad for our friends. We will be thinking a lot about Twizzler, and praying he stays healthy. It is so good of their beans to take in ill cats and give them love, and that is what we choose to think about during sad times like these.

And, since this is sad, and you have to smile when you see kittens...

Juliette and Jackson
This is Jackson (top) and Juliette (below) snuggling during the Super Bowl. Juliette, of course, is who you guys helped name. Yaffa, Sebastian and Dante got their gifts and posted a great video, too.

Everyone, have a happy and healthy day, please.

Goodbye meep

It is with such sadness that I even have to write posts like this -- I couldn't write this earlier because I was at a loss. Poor meep, as you know, crossed the bridge on Friday. He was one of our older, early blogging friends and one of Mom and Dad's favorites. Buzzerbee and meep were such close brothers and so sweet together. We always loved how their beans took in two sick kittens (FIV+) who otherwise would have no home. Buzzerbee crossed the bridge about a year and a half ago, and I'm sure meep missed him and is reunited with him now. At least their beans have Twizzler and Bear to look out for them, but the blogosphere just feels a little smaller right now. Meep, you will be missed.

Goodbye good friend

We lost a good friend today, and we are so sad. Poor sweet Bonnie Underfoot, gone so quickly. We are stunned and saddened for you and your family and little Victor Tabbycat.
