Even a Mancat can be sad when an old favorite toy has seen it's last day. Pink mouse was hunted a lot, and provided hours and hours of entertainment for Huggy Bear, as well as the rest of us. But it was Huggy Bear's mouse. Unfortunately, it was losing it's stitches, and started to be more of a hazard, so pink mouse had to go.
Huggy Bear said his final farewell. But fear not, I think a trip to Target may net a new pink mouse soon.
Pink mouse about to lose it's insides.
The eye came off pretty early in the play, but the loss of the ear was the final blow.

Goodbye dear Mousie. We hardly knew ye.
Goodbye Pink Mouse. You served kittydom well.
Oh dear--good bye sweet mousie.
That pink mousie sure was well loved!
Farewell pinkie mouse. You were furry much loved!
Man, I hate it when that happens. You get a toy to its perfect stage and the people decide it's ruined. And they can NEVER find another one juts like it.
Well, except for banana nips. Those are good no matter what...
What, the human didn't try to patch it up? Isn't it a kitty law that humans must use all efforts necessary to save a cat toy, no matter how small and insignificant it may seem to the human? I don't know if it is possible to really replace a well-loved mousie.
Goodbye pink mousie, you will be missed.
Well, pink mousie sure served you well. We hope you get a new one soon!
Send mom and dad to Target immediately. We can't have Huggy Bear without his pink mousie.
