Now, today's indignity... I am a very floofy cat and because of that I sometimes get bad matts in my furs. Well I had a few near my bottom and I couldn't really do much about them, so Mom and Dad bought some electric clippers today at Target and gave me a little bit of a sanitary cut. It's not as severe as the one I got when I had to go to the emergency vet with my anal gland issues last year, but it still wasn't my favorite thing I've done recently. It feels better, but the process stinks.

Uh-oh, I bet that was not fun! I've had butt baths a few times because of messes... fortunately that rarely happens!
How embarrassing for you, Jasper. I am glad I don't have floofy pantaloons or I would probably suffer the same indignity.
Jasper, you don't even need to have long hair to get mats--Caroline gets them every now and then too! Our mom tries to keep that area brushed well but sometimes it just doesn't work without a lot of crying. We're glad you were at least spared a ::shudder:: poodle cut!
Well, that's no fun, Jasper. At least your furs will grow back.
