Ping Pong Cat
Mom and Dad went to IKEA last weekend to grab a few things. Mom ended up getting a small shelf and some spice jars to create a new spice rack in the kitchen.
It looks really good.
The almost bought some kitchenware with a cat playing ping pong. I'm not sure why they didn't get it. It sounds perfect to me.
This is the apron of the ping pong cat.
Mom and Dad have been at the theatre a lot with the current show. They are doing Crimes of the Heart. It's a three-act play, so they get home later than we would like.
We need more snuggle-on-the-couch time. Josie loves to snuggle with Dad.
Maggie loves the corner of the couch. These pictures were from the other weekend when it was warmer and we stretched out more. The past few days have been colder, so we've been looking for good blankets to curl up in instead.
The play ends on Saturday, and we are counting on some good down time with Mom and Dad on Sunday!

3-Day, 50-Mile Walk for MS
Mom and Dad are a little nuts, I think. Getting inspiration from Max's Mom and DKM, Mom and Dad did a 3-day, 50-mile walk last year in Charleston, SC. It was a fundraiser for MS research, which is a very important cause for Mom and Dad because a dear old friend has MS.
Well, they had such a good time getting blisters and sore knees that they are doing it again this year. One of the big challenges to doing the walk isn't all the miles but raising the money to qualify to walk. Mom and Dad each have to raise $1500.
If you are feeling generous and would like to help them out, I know it would be greatly appreciated. Every bit helps. You can donate to Mom here, or to Dad here.
Thanks so much for your generous support!

Josie is Awesome -- Auto Awesome
Dad took several pictures of Josie as she snuggled with him on New Year's Day. She was being super cute kneading dough in mid air. Google's Auto Awesome created this motion enhancement by putting several pictures together.

This is our first attempt at sharing something from Google+ so I hope it works.

Josie is happy
Josie enjoyed last night, but is happy to have Dad to herself. (These pictures was supposed to go with the previous post.)
Quiet start to 2014
Mom and Dad had six friends over for New Year's Eve last night. We got some awesome nip toys from Aunt Tiff. There was a Nerf gun war at one point (yes, they are adults). I did not approve of this behaviour when a friend hid in my closet. I expressed my disapproval very vocally to Dad as soon as he came into the closet. We were free to visit last night, instead of being sent to the master bathroom. We enjoyed the company, but are happy to snuggle and watch football and parades with Mom and Dad.
