And of course, you can't have a new toy without a new toy standoff.
Huggy Bear was very happy with have a new mouse to hunt. He likes to hunt throughout the night and bring toys to Mom and Dad's room.
I even got a turn with the mouse. (I'm not sure why my picture has an orange hue to it. I guess my orange-catness just overwhelmed the camera.)
The nice thing about this mouse is that, when the catnip loses its potency, Dad can empty it out and refill it. We're hopeful that this will become a new favorite.

Oooh, a new nip toy! We hopes he brings many hours of fun. Ours like that was deaded within a week. MOL!

That looks like a great mouse toy! Truffle brings her toys to Mom Paula's bed throughout the day and night. We never know which new toy will be on the bed when Mom Paula wakes up!
Some human was (gasp) thinking when they designed such a wonderful toy!

Cheers for new toys. My mom and dad tried the catnip thing with me and some kind of ridiculous new scratch thing, but catnip just doesn't do it for me. Enjoy!!
