Bad storms
Oh we had horrible storms last night. About 1:30 in the morning the sky lit up with lightning and the house shook and the power went out. Dad scrambled out in the rain to move the car into the garage because he heard some hail falling. Today is our trash day and all our recycling got spread around the front yard, the trash can got knocked over spilling a bag of litter box scoopings, and one of Mom's potted plants was uprooted (although OK). Dad got it cleaned up this morning while Mom got ready in the dark. It's nights like this that make us so happy to have our Mom and Dad and a roof over our heads.

We agree - it makes the clean up a little easier when you look at the big picture that everyone is safe. Glad you all made it through....
Yep, storms are the worst and always make us very grateful. My mom's work had a wind vs. recycling event yesterday too--she guesses the cleaning crew moved a tall bin filled with empty cans out onto the patio while they did the floor. When my mom got in (she's usually the first one), there were cans all over the parking lot, in the street, in the bushes...
What a terrible storm! Yes, you are fortunate - I feel bad for the homeless kitties who did not have the shelter and comfort you guys do.
So glad you are safe. a mess to clean up is small price if you are all safe.. Stay safe please.. Hugs GJ xx
We are glad that everyone is alright! I hate storms
