Kittens come in

Well, mom and dad took the kittens to Pets Inc., a non-profit, no-kill shelter and entered a foster program with the kittens. Basically, mom and dad will care for the kittens and on the weekends will take them to the shelter for adoptions. Hopefully, they will find good homes quickly. Momma cat is now sleeping on our back porch in one of the chairs. It is a little sad that the kittens are away from their momma, but it was what had to be done. With the apartment complex starting to trap cats (and you know they were just being euthanized), we just couldn't have that. Hopefully the neighbors will take momma cat back in now.

The kittens did have a flea issue, so they are currently in lock-down in the bathroom with Borox. They said at the shelter that the fleas are attracted to the Borax, which is toxic to the fleas, but not to the cats. So after tomorrow, they should be OK.
