Thank you for the purrs for Mom and Uncle Billy. Mom made it home safely and we've been snuggling with her and giving her loves. Mom's Uncle Billy passed away Monday evening. Mom was thankful that she got to go up and spend some time with him and was glad she could help out her cousin so she could spend some time with her dad with less on her mind.
Mom came home from Ohio on Monday to our cable and internet being out. She was very upset with the AT&T U-verse tech who was supposed to call her mobile phone yesterday so she could leave work and meet him for the service call, but instead called our home number and put it down as a "missed appointment." It's not Mom's fault he called the wrong number. So we still don't have internet or cable at home. But he should be there tonight. For their sake, I hope it's a different tech today than yesterday or he's gonna get an ear full after the work is done. It's a shame when a good product is tainted by poor customer service. No one even said, "we're sorry he called the wrong number." On the plus side, Mom and Dad have been watching Arrested Development on DVD since they had no live tv.

Purrs to your mom and Uncle Billy's family. It can be so hard and yet almost easy to let go when they have been suffering...we are glad she got up there.
As for the cable company, don't let mom get started....she got the run around last summer when the WATER company cut her line and the CABLE company acted like a bunch of (beeeeeep)
We are thinking of your Mum and her family. That is very frustrating to us--and we know that that kind of thing happens all the time. Sigh.
Purrs to you all. I bet Uncle Billy appreciated seeing your mom before he left.
My mom is convinced there is hardly any customer service to be found anywhere. In fact, she's amazed when she gets any! She doesn't understand why companies don't get that the customer is their reason for being.
Sorry to hear about your Mom's Uncle passing.
Customer Service isn't what it used to be .. at all. Hope you get your cable back and wouldn't it be nice if you could actually yell at them and they'd listen and say they'd improve.
Purr on your Mom's lap whenever you get the chance.
Hello buddies, so sorry about your mom's uncle Billy. Sending lots of love and puggy hugs your way. xo
I am very sorry for the loss in your family. Soft purrs to you.
My human agrees that the ATT field service humans are pretty lame! She did need to call to have some of her features changed on her phone, though, and the woman who helped her was awesome!
I hope that Uncle Billy went peacefully, and my purrs go out to his family.
We thinks Mommy might know your serviceman! Hahameow. They all act like that.
We're sorry to hear about your mom's Uncle Billy. We send comforting purrs to her and her family.
We hope your innernets and TV gets fixed soon.
So deeply sorry to hear about uncle billy (((((hugs))))
