So sad for Paula
Paula, Sweet Praline's Mom, got some very bad news about one of the new kittens who was due to come and live with her this weekend. Beignet, the little boy-cat, had an adverse reaction to a vaccine and went to the bridge. At least he's in good company with Sweet Praline. But it was such a short life, but full of love. Our hearts just break for Mom Paula and Truffle. Purrs to everyone out there today. It's been a tough week for a lot of us.

We are so very sad for her. If you get to see her, would please give her a hug for us (we know that you are geographically closer to her and for some reason the Woman will not get on a plane just to hug her...)

This was such sad news. My human feels so badly for them!
We still can't believe Sweet Beignet has gone to the Bridge. We are so very sad...for him and for mom Paula. She's has had so much sadness lately.
Dad should see her next week since she is moving her office this week and will probably need to get fixed from all of that. So he'll be sure to give her a big hug from the entire Cat Blogosphere.

Thank you for the kind words. Cindy told me that you asked about me this morning. It's been really hard. I think I'm still in shock.
I definitely need to get in there and fixed up! The move is Saturday and I know three people in the office that may need to see you again.

Beignet's passing was very bad news. Like you said, he had a life of love, but it was too short.
