Ain't no Sunshine when she's gone...
Poor little Sunshine didn't make it through the weekend. The tiny bunny that Dad's office manager found succumbed on Saturday. She was just too small to be separated from her mother, I think. She was buried following a nice ceremony performed by the six-year-old daughter of Dad's office manager. Although she was around only a short time, she touched the heart of a six-year-old girl, and that is a lifetime's worth of good right there.

Awww, poor little sweetie. Some things aren't meant to be, we understand. Who knows? Maybe she will have inspired this young girl to rescue non-human animals when she grows up, or foster, become a wildlife biologist, or even to become a vet.
That's sad. Body temperature and constipation seem to be big problems for bottle fed animal orphans. Wet cotton balls can be used to mimic the missing parent's behavior. Put warm towels under, but not over the furry baby.
I am so sorry. At least the little one knew love for a while ...
I am so sorry. She was lucky to be in a good place while she was here. =^..^= Sweet impact on all & us here too!
How sweet the little girl was so touched by the life and passing of a tiny bunny.
We are so sorry she didn't survive. But it was so good of your people to take care of her.
Poor tiny thing. But what a sweet send off by the little girl and her mom.
We are so very sorry to hear about Sunshine's passing. So very sad. (((hugs))) and lots of comforting vibes headed your way.
Sniff
Poor little Sunshine.
That is sad news. Poor baby bunny...
It is very sad. Baby bunnies are hard--even if you are a professional animal rescuer.
Aw, we're sorry to hear about Sunshine...
