Mom's shadow

Mom and Dad spent a week in Cincinnati checking in on his Dad. He had to have a Whipple procedure because of a tumor in his pancreas. He's doing much better thankfully. But since Mom and Dad got home I have been glued to Mom's side. Expect in this picture, because she was busy in the kitchen so I made myself a little tuffet out of a pillow and snuggled in. But as soon as she was five I was right there. I need to keep tabs on her so she doesn't get any more travel ideas. 

Happy birthday to ME!

Today is my 14th birthday! I plan on spending it napping on Mom and Dad's bed with maybe a little napping on the couch later. Oh, and lots of treats!

Sweet friends

Today a sweet friend brought Mom the book Cat Heaven. It's a nice little book and so thoughtful. 

Then when Mom checked the mail there was a note saying another friend had made a donation to a cat group in Huggy Bear's memory. 

Apparently HB touched more people's lives than he ever knew. 

I found a box!

Mom has a play that she is working on for her theatre which means a lot of shipments coming to the house. The best part, of course, is all the boxes!

Also behind me is a new scratcher that Mom found on sale at Target. There are kitten plans but we've got to get through the next few weeks first so Mom can be around to socialize them.
