Poor Josie got two really bad mats on her back. Dad tried to brush and pick them out, but just couldn't, so he had to cut them off instead. Josie seems more comfortable with them cut off, but Dad feels real bad about her haircut. For her dignity, there is no picture...
Poor Josie. Mom has had to help shelter cats before like that and the results are never picture worthy.... :)
ReplyDeleteOur mom used to take her angel Chumley in a few times a year for shaving--his hind end and tummy, mostly. He'd come home looking pretty bad (would have been better to have had a lion cut), but he always felt better, and that was the main thing. Ditto for Josie!
ReplyDeleteIt will grow back before she knows it. Caroline had two this summer, and she's such a screamy squirmer that Mom doesn't dare use scissors near her. She had to leave Caroline to take care of it on her own terms. (It finally came all the way loose just the other day!)
